What do you need to set up on the web?

There are three basic things that you need to get your business on the web.
  • at least one Web page This might be all you need if you just want a presence and want to tell people how to get in touch with you. The more you want to do, the more pages you will need. You could have a complete e-commerce web site if you want.
You can design your web pages yourself, or you might want a professional to design it. We will gladly do it for you - click on the link on the left called Web Design

  • a 'home' for your web pages This is someone who will host your web pages. This will also give you email addresses for you and your business. Click on the link called Web Hosting for more details, and see details of the various Hosting Plans that we offer.

  • a Web 'name' You need to think about what your 'Web name' will be - like  yourname.com. Click on the link on the left called Domain Names for more details.

That is the minimum you need to get your business on the internet. You can make it as simple as one page, ranging up to a complete shop front to the world where you can sell your goods or services and accept payments.

How much you do will depend on what you want to achieve.

We will be happy to give you advice and to tailor a package to your needs
