Other options
We can arrange for a
wide range of extra features such as a shopping cart to let your
customers make orders online, or a facility for your customers to pay by
credit card online. We will be happy to give you a quote for these.
If you prefer, we can write the content of your pages and provide the
graphics that you need. It is very difficult to quote for this without
knowing your requirements, so let us know what you need and we will give
you a quote.
As a rough guide, each extra page on top of those
included in the packages will cost £250, but this will be less if you
have a large number of pages
If there is anything else that you would like,
please let us know and we will give you a price.
* Update means changing
the text or graphics on your pages from material provided by you. We
will update your web pages once free in the first year, after which we
charge £50 per page for an update, or £100 if you want a complete
re-write.
You might prefer to be able to do all the updates yourself - if so, we
can arrange training and let you know the software that you need. We'd
be happy to discuss this with you.

2. The Cost
of keeping your pages on the Web. |
|
Like most
things, the cost of keeping your pages on the web depends on how
much you want to do. For a more detailed discussion on the issue of
web hosting and its costs, go to the Web
Hosting page, and look at the cost of
our various plans.
As a rough guide, for a basic web site of up
to 10 pages it will cost about £12 per month
If you want to add things like a shopping
cart or the facility to accept credit card payments, the cost begins
to increase. See Web Hosting for more
details. |
|
3. The cost of
getting a name for your web pages |
|
For more detailed information about
getting a name for your web pages, click on
Domain Names. As a rough guide it will cost about £15 (for 2
years registration) for a name ending in .co.uk and about £25 (for 2
years registration) for a name ending in .com Other domain endings
have various different costs.
